About Joe Slattery

Joe is a fresh-thinking, strategic-minded leader with a knack for solving complex commercial challenges. He formed TravelAnalytica in 2019 after a twenty-six year career with the global cruise brand Holland America Line. From 2014 to 2019 he served as Senior Vice President, Global Marketing and Sales, responsible for over $1 billion in net ticket revenues, $90+ million A&P spend, and a team of 150 professionals in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., continental Europe and Australia.

Joe's extensive international experience is complimented by functional expertise in strategy, revenue management, marketing, distribution, sales, and product development. His deeply analytical approach to business is balanced by a left brain - right brain belief that data-driven insights fuel creative thinking. He is a strong advocate for operational discipline, efficiency and accountability.

Joe is a lifelong learner and a career student of the travel and tourism industry well beyond the cruise sector. His special interests include small-scale, destination-themed experiences, sustainability, and special-interest tourism themed around adventure and exploration, the arts, history, and cuisine.
